like the title says they are brown and suction cup to some of my life rock and glass and then the have claer plyps with a hint of green on the tip and each tentacle type base has little polyps at the end. A few should up on glass now they are near corals on live rock cant take a good pic. any idea? Not aptasia for sure same base color but they are tiny

If they look like little aptasia, then they probably are just young one.

A picture would be helpful.

They could be the majano anemones, or they could be aptaisa. There are many different types of Aptaisa. Depending on the conditions of the tank you could get different expressions, phenotypically, of the aptaisa. Just to be safe add some peppermint shrimp, just make sure they are the peppermint shrimp that eat aptasia because I heard that there are two different types of peppermint shrimp that are being sold; ones that eat aptasia and ones that don't

i have pepermints and they look nothing like aiptasia with the exception of that dull brown color. My camera is making them blurry so i cant get a good pic. There flat and stuck to the walls and then there is little polyps that come off of them and have little individual finger like tips at the end. and they appear a light faint florecent green on the tips., really weird first just on the glass and now in the mix with the corals. Majaonos are huge there are around the size of a tic tac split in 2

Don't forget that everything starts small!

Peppermint shrimp are a hit and miss. Some will eat them other won't. You do want to make sure you don't get camel shrimp which are sometimes sold as peppermint. Do a search and study pic, there are not hard to tell apart if you know what to look for.
