ID request enjoy em' or exterminate em' (photo)

I was thinking the items above the ricordia were colonial hydroids the shape and color are different than all the pictures I've seen of them so I'm not totally positive. I'm a firm believer in "when in doubt take it out but I kind of like the way these look so I would like confirmation of what they are. Sorry, these are the best pictures I can get the only camera I have is an old 4Mpx point and shoot.

Thanks

hard to tell
have u observed any negative interaction between the mystery colony and the ricordea?
that is an easy way to tell
if the mushroom looks like it is being stung by those things then they r prob not good. if no negative interaction is occurring then u r prob ok

I am not sure what these are either but i have a blue zillion of them everywhere. I havent seen any ill effects from them yet. They glow wicked under actinics and especially moonlight. It is like a small grouped together pipe organ coral or group of small dusters in a way.

They look a lot like some green palys I have in my tank. They came in as hitchhikers and have grown in a fairly rapid, but controllable, way (the colony is probably ~ 6" across after two years). Where they're located in my tank I have to prune them back when they spread near a blasto (they sting it) but they're also next to some mushrooms and don't seem to bother those in the least.
