Improve Older Octopus Skimmer Performance
I can't fit a larger skimmer into my sump, so I contacted CoralVue to see if their new bubble blaster pumps would work with the body of my older model Octopus skimmer (NW110). They responded right away that the pump wouldn't fit, but they would sell me the pinwheel impeller for $25.00. Since all the online stores were getting $39.95 plus shipping, I took CoralVue up on their offer. I am seeing a marked improvement in performance, cleaning the collection cup much more frequently and getting darker skimmate.
