Opinions Wanted

Ah yes the age old question about lights...

Anyway, Im looking to upgrade from a very old compact fluorescent, and I think I found a deal that suits my system. Here's a little info about what I've got:

The tank is only 16" deep (or about 14" from sand bed to surface)
I plan to have some inverts, but nothing difficult to keep (maybe an anemone and mushrooms but NO hard corals)

With this in mind, I want to go with T5's. After shopping online, I came across this:

http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewIt...&tab=4&size=36

Is this something that would suit my system? Thanks ahead of time for your opinions.

i would go with the nova extreme pro,it has a little bit better of a reflector design which should give you some better light output, i just ordered mine for a very good price a 36 inch fixture will cost ya $311 bucks shipped

I'll look into the Nova Extreme Pro, but the lights in the link that I posted are $99 for the 36" fixture and two T5HO lamps... To me, this sounds like a steal. Am I missing something?

It's probably ok for what you want now... but..... for a little bit more cash you could get a 4 or 6 bulb light that will grow just about anything. You should be able to find a refurbished light on Ebay pretty cheap.
