HELP! What is this fish???

Hi guys! I just came from a trip from Roatan, a bay island off honduras. I live here in Cayman Islands and have never seen a fish quite like this in my life. I found it near a shallow mangrove and thought it was some sort of plastic trash. I noticed its a yellow grouper or something and it wasnt shy! It behaved similiar like a lionfish not afraid at all. I snapped these quick photos as I cant find no info anywhere about it and I will be moving there in January and will definately have a reef tank started there!

What I need to know is how big does these get? and what tank size would I need to send there? It looks like a species of grouper, or hawkfish. Lucky the water was super calm and I could see it so good as i didnt have no mask. It was so tame i thought it was sick, or dying but all of a sudden it swam off in a hurry! Fish was about 6 inches or so.

Thanks, John.

I agree on the Tripletail ID. They get quite large and UGLY when they mature, you would need a massive tank to house an adult. As stated above- quite tasty.
