Buying Online. Suggestions?

So I have Firday free so I decided to go ahead and buy me some corals/inverts. I plan on buying -

3 Sexy Shrimp
1 Pink/white feather duster
1 Fire Shrimp
2" or less frag of star polyps
2" or less frag of hammer wall coral
2" or less frag of devil's hand/finger leather
2.5" frag of zoanthids

Maybe some pulsing xenia, a 2" frag. However not sure. Seems like people complain a lot about these guys. So I was wondering whether any of these corals/invertebrates are bad shippers and should be excluded from my shipping list. Also if any of these have problems I should know about please tell me.

They should all be fine i think the only thing that may not ship well is the xenia. Most places you will order from will guarantee their livestock to arrive alive and some have 15 day guarantees.

Agreed. The xenia is the only one I would worry about.

Where are you ordering from? Some places will overnight in a way that they bring the package to the facility at close (around 8pm) and it is already ready to be picked up the following say at 8am, which is only 12 hours. If packaged well, everything should do just fine.

I am ordering from bluezooaquatics. Well thanks for input. I suppose I can drop the xenia for another time since I hear it's like wild fire in your tank. Best added later when space is taken up, =P. Any more input would be greatly appreciated.

The green star polyps you are ordering will also grow like weeds in your tank. Make sure you really want them in there and be careful where you put them because once established they can be difficulot to remove.

+1. I have to finally kill it all because it was spreading too fast and smother my other corals.

I also agree with this. On the glass of the tank or an isolated rock (an island in the sand, for example) are the only places I trust the stuff.
