Clowns on my brian
Just thought this was funny and had to share. Recently added my first fish to the tank, two clown fish. I had already added a CUC and several coral several weeks ago. Starting slow with my coral selection but I do have an open brian coral. Every evening now my clowns are trying to host on the brian coral. Sure they are not hurting anything but really want to tell them "Silly fish".

Hehe... I'm just curious about what a "Brian" coral is? Do they have other named corals like Mike or Bob?

My clowns did that to my open brain too until they abused it to death. It didn't take long either so you may want to keep and eye on it.

Clowns will host just about anything. I have seen them host giant clams and actually swim INSIDE the clam's mouth... until it died. It can be kind of cute, until you realize they are actually doing more to kill your priced specimen.

If their behavior is harmful, how on earth would I stop them?

I had to remove it. Ironically, it ended up dying anyway.
