Best way to mount frags

What's the best way everyone mounts frags these days? Product? Technique? Tricks?

I set them into holes in the rocks and they grow off the plugs. I wouldn't recommend it.

I use super glue gel. It works pretty well for me. It's cheap and easy to find at any hardware store, hobby shop, or craft store

to start; I drilled hundreds of 1/4" holes in my rock (live and base) to hold pegged corals

Small to medium sized SPS will be mounted on a piece of rock that is also drilled using a 1/4" masonary bit. sometimes I drill a couple holes to give me options on coral orientation (horizontal or vertical)

I will then glue the sps coral to the drilled rock using super glue. I'll leave it out for about 5 minutes to let the glue set.

I use 1/4" rigid airline tubing as the peg, gluing it into the rock with the coral mounted to it.

Then it's just a mater of placing the pegged coral on your live rock at one of the pre drilled locations

for larger SPS - like staghorns, they just get glued to a larger rock (unpegged)

For LPS - I will usually use the epoxy putty to glue them directly to a rock, but I usually want this rock removable or keep it so you can break loose the coral in the event of needing to remove it for cleaning, fragging or relocation

For softies I use three methods
1) leathers and xenia - I'll just rubber band them to a rock
2) zoas, rics and shrooms - I'll place in a box with rubble and let them attach (takes a couple days) then glue the rubble with the softie to a place I want it
3) or, I will use gutter guard, held in place with rubber bands, to hold the softie to a specific place on a larger rock until it decides to stick
