Pistol Shrimp is sneaky

Bought a ricordia and purple mushroom, ricordia went missing (figured current swept it away) and a few days later the mushroom and the rock fragment it came on were gone...went looking for them today and low and behold both are in the pistol shrimps cave

they were both on the other side of the tank too so the shrimp must go wandering far at night which is weird because he doesnt go far from the goby/cave during the day

Using building material for his cave. What kind of sand do you have? Argonite or argonite mixed with regular sand is best to have for a Pistol shrimp.

My Pistol does the same thing. The only thing I have found that works is to pick the corals up off the sand
