Question Float Valve Back Up?

I'm just having my rodi installed inside the house. Can anyone remind me what the back up would be for a float valve?

After having a few float valve "malfunctions", I'm using both an Auto Top Off solenoid on the feed for the RO/DI and a secondary drain (last ditch, set the highest in the Brute container) as an extra measure.

Hope this helps.

I use the GAP liquid level controller. It has a solenoid, float valve and float switch all integrated into it and a nice hanging bracket. The solenoid is also plugged into a timer.
