Looking for a calcium reactor for my 300 gal tank. Please help!

I am looking to buy a nice calcium reactor. The more I read the harder it has been to decide 2 chamber or 1. There are so many different brands was hopping to get some feed back from all the experienced reef junkies in here.
I will have a heavy sps load on this tank. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for so I'm ready to spend some cash. Show tank is 300 gallons sump is about 150 gallons. So with that said thank you for reading my post and I look forward to see what you all have to say.

I used a GEO 618 and it worked great on my 300. Added another 150 gallon tank and upsized to an 818.

You will want a decent sized reactor with dual chambers.

A properly set up reactor is worth every penny.

Check out the electronic regulator from aquarium plants. It really is a top notch regulator. http://www.aquariumplants.com/Aquari...ator_p/co2.htm

Feed the reactor with an adjustable peristaltic pump like a litermeter 3 or check out some of the used medical grade stuff on ebay. I use a cole-parmer digital peristaltic pump. It is a workhorse. Feeding it this way allows you to remove the needle valve and set your flow precisely with the digital pump. Needle valves will need adjustment as the media is used up to keep the flow rates the same. The pump will not.

I use an MRC CR2 Dual reactor with great results. Any good brand will work though. A lot of people like the GEO reactors. Precision Marine also makes a great reactor.

A controller of some sort is needed. You can go with a stand along or a full on controller. There are some good options out there that don't cost too much.

With the electronic regulator and adjustable peristaltic pump its as close to set and forget as you can get.
