Changed light fixture, now having algae blooms
Last weekend I changed my light fixture out for one slightly bigger, and obviously that brought around new bulbs as well.
Since then every day my front glass has been turning bright green and seeing a little of that inside the tank as well. Is this normal and if so how long should I expect this to continue? Thanks |

You need to reduce phosphates.

Yep, that's perfectly normal with new bulbs in my experience. Reducing your phosphate load as suggested by tkeracer will help with how quickly the algae grows back, though.
