brand new and need help

I have a 26 gallon tank and i need to know everything i need to get and if you have an idea where to get it cheap online because i am stationed over in england.o i would like to do fish and coral but if its alot easier and cheaper i can do just fish. Thank you very much for any help that is given because i will use all of it

To Reef Central

The first thing you should do before you rush into setting up the tank is to do some reading. There is a lot of great information here - http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1031074 Some of the threads will give you an idea on how you want to set the tank up. For instance, will you be using a sump? If so, will you be drilling the tank or using an overflow box? No sump, then you'll want to look for hang on back filters to run your GFO and carbon. There are a nuber of options for lighting, and the link I provided will help steer you towards what lighting will best suit your needs.

If you want to go cheap, the best option is to use base rock as the majority of your rock and add a few pounds of live rock to seed the base rock. I'm not sure where in the UK though.

you could make your own out of foam and sand!

Foam and sand floats. For home made rocks, check out the DIY rocks thread - http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=807988 It has split numerous times so plan for a long read.
