Can't decide keep going back in forth between power heads.

Narrowed it down between tunze or the koralia magnum power heads. I have a 90 gallon tank plan to have a mixed reef no sps though. Vortech are out of the question my budget for the build allows me around 260 bucks for power heads.

Had an order placed couple days ago for tunze 6045 but realized it wasn't enough so had them refund my order got my cash back now im looking for advice.

What i was thinking was 2 tunze 6065's

or 2 koralia magnums no clue what ones yet and maybe a small tunze for the back of the tank?

koralia magnum are affordable people have no complaints other than the size which is twice as big as the tunze i think or close to it. never seen one so if someone could be so nice and post a pic of thiers id appreciate it.

Tunze small size good quality but less gph for the buck.

what i hear is magnum has more of a broad flow and tunze is more directional?

Maybe one of each?

lol i just need help!

I would go Tunze, when you add the power consumption and their legendary costumer support, it's a no brainer.

Check out big als. They've got all koralia power heads on sale for 50% off. If I were you, I would buy 4-1050s. That way you can place them in the tank in multiple spots so dead spots are a non issue. I know a lot of folks like to use only 2 PHs because its less clutter in the tank, but when using multiple PHs, you get less dead spots, and more random flow.
I was in a similar situation as you. I'm building an 80gal tank right now. I was thinking to use only 2 big PHs, but realized it was better to use several smaller PHs instead. And at 50% off my 4-1050s cost $90 with free shipping.
