Accumulating fishes
Okay im not new to hobby but this is the first time i have gotten more than one new fish through online order. They are in different bags so should I accumulate them one at a time or all together? its gonna be along time to do em one by one...they'd be in those bags an awful long time. just any ideas or what you do would be helpful ty

lol accumulating. I think you mean acclimating. Since parameters will probably be different in each bag, I wouldnt just combine them in a bucket and acclimate. Get a couple buckets and a couple drip lines and acclimate each in their own bucket.

When acclimating numerous fish at once I place them in a bucket and slow drip them all together. There are several opinions on this and all have valid points. I believe the most important part is temperature followed close by the pH level.
I've had great success (when time is a factor) in just floating the bags to regulate temps then netting the fish and placing them straight into the tank.

yep slow drip acclimation is the way to go.
Accumulation is also the way to go as long as you don't accumulate too many fish |

When I have a few fish, I bag acclimate each one individually. By bag acclimate, I mean I float the bag for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then I pour out about 25 percent of the bag water into a bucket, and refill the bag from the tank, reseal with the rubber band, and allow to float for another 10 or 15 minutes. Then I open the bags again, pour out half the water in a bucket, refill the bags from the tank, and float, then 75%, float again, then hand release, being careful all the while to not allow the bag water into my tank.
