Bio Wheel is pretty useless in SW and not something that is of much use in a SW tank. Are you wanting to keep coral? What is your lighting? Time for you to do some major reading

...And that is a great place to start. Read, Read, Read in the beginning and that's a good amount of material to read. In my first year I read about 5 books on the hobby. I've since just lurked around RC and read a lot of advice and a lot of articles....

You'll need: that thread, lights, heater, 1 lb of live rock or dryrock live rock combo per gallon, plus 1 lb per gallon aragonite sand, a skimmer, a sump tank, a downflow, a return pump, skimmer pump, an autotopoff unit and pump and reservoir (old bucket) and lights adequate for what you want to keep. The sump, while not 100% necessary, is a 99% really good idea, on that scale. It holds all equipment, adds volume, and provides a place to safely dump chemicals that should not land on fish and coral, plus a place for a refugium (green tank) to supply small live food and further oxygenate and purify water.
