sorry to resurrect an old thread, but some of you have indicated that you do not drip your effluent and run a steady stream instead.....are you still doing this? does the C02 have enough time to "react" in the chamber? What kind of ph do you maintain in the reactor, what is your effluent alkalinity?

thank you. I've set mine up to be pretty much the same as he describes, although i'd say im about 60dpm. My question is to those who just run a steady stream out of their reactor - - do you worry about drastically raising your alkalinity by doing this? Several people in this thread indicated that they operate their reactors this way, im just curious to see how this has worked out for them, or if this is not recommended |
