how long do chillers last??
i am looking to purchase a used 5 year old chiller. Does anyone know how long a chiller lasts on average? Is this a good brand Universal Marine Industries the Model # is ( AQ- E1- NP ) Has the New Ocean Electronic Temperature Controller on the unit. for 50.00

Depending on the hp that is a good deal...chillers can last 8 years or more if you take care of it....so how long that chiller will last will be based on the fact if it has been taken care of or if it has been abused kinda like a used car....you might haveto recharge it if it hasnt been used lately....also if you know any A/C guys that would help you out have them check it out for you....its basically the same as an A/C
