LED calculator

Hi all,

Has anyone seen or heard of a calculator for LEDs that will give you the type, spacing and number needed for different size tanks? I see a lot of questions about this from DIYers. I am looking at making one for my 150 and am wondering the same thing. Do any of the manufacturers have calculators on their sites to determine which of their products to use for specific applications? You would think that this would exist somewhere.

Cheers!

It is not as simple as plugging a few numbers into a 'calculator'. There are just to many options to have a clear cut method of doing it.

It all depends on tank size, depth, type of corals you want to keep, optics, current, budget, driver choice, and many more. There are just to many variables.

Hope this helps,
Landon
