wiring up some 250w mh

Hey all... this is the first time i have had to retro fit anything before this i always used a fixture... what do i attach the green "ground" wire to with my halides... the instructions on the ballast are not very clear as to what I should attach it to.

Usually it is attached to the fixture itself. One end to ground and the other to the fixture.

so i can just screw it to the reflector? the actual mogul socket has black and white but no green... the power cord has black, white, and green.

Yes, screw it to the reflector.That way everything will be grounded through your breaker box.
