Newbie Question. Got my first frogspawn frag. Now what?
So I got my first frag. Is on a plug. So do I just wedge the plug to the rock somewhere in the tank? I take it there is no removing the frogspawn from the plug right? Do I glue it to the rock with some water safe epoxy?. If so, can anyone recommend any good epoxy?

I snapped my frogspawn off the frag plug then glued it to a fist sized chunk of live rock. The rock is small enough to move around the tank but large enough not to get knocked over. I then moved it around to find a nice moderate light and low flow area for it. Worked well for me.

I don't think frogspawns encrust so depending on what is used to glue them to the plug you could just take it off if you don't want the frag plug

Wedge it first and find a place that it likes the flow and lighting. You can then mount it if needed.

Yeah cool. Think I will just leave it on the plug and glue the plug. Any suggestions on glue. I have heard home depot, but doesn't that contain chemicals that can harm your tank? Anyway yes, I have been checking all parameter. Seems my tank doing much better now that I switched to reef crystals. Everything thriving and more livlier.

Any cyanoacrylate glue gel will work. I've found that I prefer the Loctite brand. There are reef safe epoxies, HoldFast and AquaMend.

Once I find the sweet spot for the coral I grab the plug holding it upside down so the coral is still in the water (not necessary but is how I do it). Take a papertowel to the bottom of the plug and dab dry as best as possible. Put a couple of glue balls about a quarter of an inch thick around the perimeter of the disk of the plug. Place said coral plug back in the same spot gently pressing down and give it a good twist back and forth to break the skin on the glue and holding for about 30 seconds. Thats all it usually takes but sometimes it will take a few attempts if the glue isn't thick enough.

I just have mine resting on the sand bed.
My clown host it,so I'm in no hurry to try and remove it and get attacked.
