i bought the sybon refractometer from aquacave. It's well built, has heft to it, has ATC, easy to read and is dead accurate. It was one of the cheapest refractometers I found. I've had it for more than a year and I've only had to calibrate it once. Calibration fluid is a good thing to get along with the refactometer.

I have the marine depot and it is nice. I can't really compare it to anything else or more expensive, however I've had it for a year and it is still nice just like the day i bought it. Very solid construction, great price, been very accurate as well.

One I got off ebay 5 years ago for $30. Its been dropped at least 40 times and the little plastic flap has been replaced 4 or 5 times. Currently I have to hold the plastic flap against it.

I need a new one. Surprisingly.... its still accurate.

I have one from BRS, it's got ATC and comes with free calibration fluid. I like mine and it has stayed accurate for the couple of months that I've been using it.
