Do You Use Powerhead Deflectors?
One came with my Sicce powerhead, never put it on, should I? Are these powerhead deflectors good, does anyone use them?

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
If you want to place the PH low in the tank and still get surface agitation the deflectors can help in that regard.

They are great for precise aim on corals that need more flow or to take care of dead spots of low flow in the tank.

i have to use one to keep water from blowing directly onto my sand bed.

Wow forgot I posted this until now! Seems they are useful in certain situations. Thanks for the replies, I had not thought of some of these uses before.
