Check out these snails!
I'm not sure what these snails actually are but I know they were cheap!! They have one little tube sticking out whenever they are eating. I ordered 200 of them from the great auction site that I dont know if I can say the name, but rhymes with hebay for 18 bucks shipped, buy it now!! My back wall of the tank was COVERED in algae, which was fine with me since I forgot to paint it before hooking up my plumbing, but look at what they have done in the past 2 weeks!! I didnt put all 200 in my 180 either, about half went into my sump to clean off the walls. Here is a pic taken with my phone in the dark, so don't mind the quality.
![]() This back wall was completely covered 2 weeks ago. I noticed a little gone, then a little more but over the past week it has went crazy!! It's like they sent out a message to the colony telling them they hit the algae jackpot!! |
