Skimmer In sump turned brown.
I believe this is because of the light that's in the sump.it stays on 24/7 because of the refuge.now it seems I'm constantly adjusting the skimmer because it's not collecting any waste.I only have 6 fish but should be collecting something.do you think my skimmer turning brown is a issue?

How about alternating the lights? Do you think that would help? Turn the light in the sump off when the DT lights are on. Then back on when the DT lights are off.

Ok I just removed it from the sump and just cleaned it so the brown wasn't permanent. Thanks
