Uh oh!!! - Poured Alk into measuring cup without rinsing from Ca first

So I've been dosing 5 ml of DIY Ca and Alk as described in this post:

http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php

Today, I dosed the Ca, then poured the Alk into the same measuring cup without rinsing first... didn't realize it until I had poured it into the tank... the portions that mixed created a solid that now looks like snow in my tank. Maybe I'm exxagerating a bit, but it was enough that my fish thought it was food!

Should I be worried??? What does Ca and Alk make when combined directly?
