Getting Started… (again)
I am about to jump back into the hobby and will be using some dry, previously used Marco rock and new sand. I have a question about cycling the tank. What the best method these days? Should I buy a small piece of live rock and a handful of sand and throw a shrimp, wait and then buy a hardy fish? Would love to hear what people are doing these days… Thanks!

sounds like what I am doing. I'm starting with dry rock and adding a little bit of live rock to seed the system and to start a cycle as these cure.
