He uses his RO wastewater on the yard, not used saltwater.
I use my old SPS water into a 100 gallon rubermaid I have some soft corals in. I use that water on a pair of small systems that are fish only and a pod grow out experiment. After that it goes into the drain that goes out to the ditch in the summer, and gets poured on the stone driveway in the winter.

If you have a septic put it in your yard. I you live in the city the drain is just fine. If you rent and your landlord is a TOOL, WHO CARES RIGHT.

melt the ice in the winter on our walkway...2x5 gal buckets just thrown out the front door..summer just pour it off the deck on yard small amopunt has never been an issue with gilling the grass ect
