Mystery Clownfish Disappearance

Hi, What do you think happened to my clownfish? My 90 gal tank is 1 year old. It has a dsb, refugium and it is skimmerless. I have many lps and soft corals (zoas & mushrooms) I have had 2 clownfish for almost a year. They were my first fish. I also have a pair of anthias, a coral beauty, a mandarin, a six line wrasse and a 2" hippo tang. There is 1 peppermint shrimp and a few snails, no hermit crabs. 2 days ago my clownfish disappeared. I bought an elegance coral in Nov and this clownfish liked to hide in it and swim through it. Is it possible that the elegance coral ate it??? If now where could the fish be? None of the fish seem sick. The clownfish was about 3" and was a tank-bred nemo clown. Any thoughts???? I looked for a dead fish carcass but havent found any.

years back when I had a established tank I would find that I had missing fish from time to time. I sometimes would find them deep in the rocks. Or like you said it was ate. had a bubble do this to several clowns over the years.

If you have an overflow, have you checked in there? Mine used to go into it all the time.

HI, as an update, I haven't found the missing clownfish yet. I did check the overflow since when it was small it got stuck there once. I also checked the refugium. I cant find it. Also, I do have a bubble coral, but its small, and I have frogspawn, hammers, and a cynarita. I dont know what happened. Its weird. The clownfish were my favorites. ANY OTHER THOUGHTS???
