T5HO bulb advice please
Ok, this is going to be one of those "Typical Newbie" questions (haha), but I am a bit confused by working out bulb lengths. I've got a 30" AquaticLife T5HO 4x24w fixture. I want to replace the 2 10k bulbs with a combo and a pure actinic. I literally measured out the length of my bulbs to be 22".
Heres where I get confused. When I start looking at different 24w t5ho bulbs, some say 22" but some say 24"... is there a difference or do they do that to confuse rookies? Will they both work in my tank? Thanks! |

Keep it simple and look for 24w bulbs. Most of us will refer to them as 24" bulbs, but they're actually smaller. If they're 24w they'll fit your fixture[
