What kind of fish? How big are they?
How much and how often do you feed them?
What is your water change % and schedule?
How much live rock and sand are in the tank?
Do you have a refugium or other means of nutrient export?
Do you have an adequate protein skimmer?
What is your current nitrate level?

There are no critters you can add that will lower nitrates, anything you add will increase your bioload and nitrate production.
