Deep Blue Professional warranty
I bought a small Deep Blue Professional Heat Stik heater for my saltwater mixing buckets. I had put the heater in the water, and let it equalize temperatures for about an hour. I plugged it in, turned it to 79 degrees, and let it go. About 2 hours later, I hear a big bang. The heater basically exploded in the bucket.
These heaters have a one-year warranty, but neither the box or the instructions give any indication on how to make a claim. They don't even have a contact number for the company (only a P.O. Box address), and their website has no contact information either. Does anyone have any contact info for this company? I'm going to call the LFS I bought it from if I can't find anything else, but I'm afraid they'll pass me back off to the manufacturer.

I hear this is the problem with this company. they have no contact info anywhere. They aren't really a company I think but a fish store that is selling their own brands to everyone. I tried to locate them doing google searches and stuff and came up with nothing. If you can get your money back from your LFS I would and then go buy something else. Definitely stay away from marineland stealth heaters as they do the same thing.

Thanks for that contact info Barry. I brought the unit back to my LFS and they took care of me. They replaced it with another DeepBlue heater. No issues yet, so I'm hoping it stays that way. I'll keep that info on hand though just in case!
