Anyone Rebuilding old Solaris with updated Led/Modules?

I have an old 36" Solaris I would like to talk to someone about updating with new technology advanced LED's if there are people doing that now, thanks. Fixture is pretty nice and it fits my tank :>).

I'm currently working on this. I have replaced some of the burnt out led's with newer led's. they are a bit brighter. I'm currently trying to make a direct swap for Cree's but I'm having issues finding the factory connectors they use on the boards.

I was just reading another thread on a different forum and this very subject was mentioned. Apparently, the person who posted mentioned that Mark Davis email: ARS@advresourcesolutions dot com rebuilds the boards, power supplies etc.

Note that you will need to change the "dot" to a . in the email address. I hope that helps.

He does offer replacement LED's and power supplies. I would caution you on doing this, since his prices to do this is a RIP OFF. A little searching on the board will render you much cheaper options, then his solution.
