Powerheads
I have a 75 gallon reef tank and two Koralia 750 powerheads. How should they be placed? I have them on opposite sides right now. Both are blowing in opposite directions (one across the back of the tank and one across the front of the tank).

I got 2 1050's for my 55 (maybe too much flow, if there is such a thing). I was asking a similar question, and I got some advice to cross the flows to create turbulence. I tried that, but couldn't get them positioned in a way that it didn't dig a hole in the sand where the turbulence was created. Biggest thing you want to worry about is making sure you don't have any dead spots where there is little to no water movement.

Yep no dead spots is what you want so place them so that it makes the whole tank is circulating well

That sounds okay for a start, you may feel like moving them about after a while depending on what you keep in the tank, Id suggest your right on the minimum limit too really, your at around 20x, but these days even with just soft corals 30-40x is normal, and over 100x for Hard to keep SPS corals
