Thanks for all the comments and i appreciate it. Sorry if it seemed like i was getting smart with you guys, i realize that i am new to the hobby and ill keep all comments in mind. With that being said i think an update on the tank is due. Overall the system is doing great. I have been noticing tons of small - medium starfish all over my rocks and on the glass of the tank. The red slime hasnt gotten any better nor worse so i took it upon me to buy the ViaAqua Ma 600 air pump as well as UltraLife's red slime remover. Hopefully everything works out great. The anemone keeps on getting bigger and bigger. It is starting to overgrow the spot that its in lol. Well ill let you guys know how the red slime remover worked out in my next update (:

Another update. The tank has been doing great! The red slime have been gone for awhile now, approx 2-3 days after i did my last update. The smaller of the clownfish decided that it wanted to host my anemone which is crazy to me and i def didnt expect it at all, although the bigger one isnt but maybe one day it will. There has been some purple coraline algea growth all over the sides of the tank, filter, etc. so hopefully it continues to grow and take over the whole back side of the tank. Thats basically it.
I have been pondering lately if i should get rid of the current livestock, get some metal halides and get some more exquisite corals. Only thing im worried about is the heat issue though. Let me know what you guys think. -Will |
