Ever wanted to just start over from scratch?

I'm nearly done with plumbing, overflow, etc. However, I made some mistakes that I wish I could just erase. The tank just isn't the same nor will it ever be. Yeah Yeah...I know...it will work. It's just that I pictured, dreamed, envisioned things to be perfect! How could I have made those mistakes after waiting so long. How did my impatience get the best of me? Most of it I'll never see behind the tank, but in the back of my head, I know it's there.

A FRESH 90/G is starting to sound real nice! I now know where I went wrong, what not to do, and could get the tank and stand for about $500.

Who am I kidding, my girlfriend would never go for it!

It was sounding real nice though!

It's never as bad as it seems, Re-doing PVC, running better electric lines and even re-doing my sump lately has kept my mind working. Better is always a possibility, with in budgets. Look at it this way, Your learning and learning is a good thing, but don't let it get the best of you. Like I always say, 17 years of reef keeping and just when i think i have it down, i find myself still learning.

When my hubbie and I plumbed our 120 gal, we re-worked the plumbing serveral times. First we had flex tubing going to sump, but ended up with pvc. Learned the importance of ball valves to control flow and got the kind that you can remove
