Heater & Protein Skimmer Question

So I usually just use whatever heater I can get my hands on, but I'm putting together my dream tank using only the best of everything and I need something reliable that wont swing 2 degree's. The total tank volume including sump is only 30 gallons. I was looking at the JBJ True Temp heaters.

As for the skimmer, I was looking at the AquaC Urchin Pro, but im not dead set on this. I really just want something easy to set up, but more importantly something reliable. My last ASM G3 stopped working after a year.

So suggestions on skimmer and heater will be greatly appreciated so I can get them ordered and start this thing up!!

Just as a little teaser, things I got so far: Mr. Aqua 25 gallon low iron cube(display), 2 mr. Aqua 7.5 gallon cube(1 sump, 1 fresh water top off reserve), Vortech MP10 w/ wireless driver, Reef Keeper Lite, SL1 expansion, 2 Par38 LED bulbs for lighting and a bunch of other small stuff like plumbing, probes, filter media, rock, sand, ect. I'll be throwing the build up soon

I think JBJ or Finnex would be good as long as you get enough wattage. I would prob go with two 150 watters, just in case one quite working.
Don't know about skimmer. I might would look at the sro octopus cone skimmers. ATB skimmers look to be good.
