Heaters too big for sump.

Well awesome. I have 2 250 watt heaters, but low and behold, they are too big to fit in my sump sections

My tank will be approx 110+30 sump so 140 gallons.

How many 150 watt heaters will I need?

Can you lay the heaters horizontal ? I have mine in the sump and heater head toward inlet of sump. Most all are now fully submersible.

2-150 Watters will just do it.

The only way they fit are diagonally horizontal. But I can't do that with my skimmer in the same section.

Ok, so you think 2 wil be sufficient. It doesn't ever get colder than 70 here inside so that should be fine I would think.

I think 2 will be fine. I only run one 150w on my 300gal system and I stay between 79-81. I do keep my house pretty warm though, around 72-74.

No real (easy) way to know unless you try it

I just bought a new Jager --- 150-watt --- good for 75-gallons. With lights and your 70-degree temp ---> go to go !
