here is my suggestion, the tankn alone your looking at about 1200 lbs, plus stand, plus whatever you decide to use for a sump. You could eliminate the center stud wall since its about a 40" span, but I probably would have placed it just because. each stud wall needs 3 studs, each one directly under the joist. Also take note that each stud will be a different length (height from concrete to underside of joist - 3")

no problem,
If you decide to go this route make sure you place sill gasket or building paper under the bottom 2x6 plate, this prevents moisture from being drawn out of the concrete slab and into the bottom plate. concrete by nature is wet and constantly hydrating so it is important to protect the framing members. |
