Lightbulb Makeshift diy refugium

Hello all,
Just wanted some critiquing and constructive criticism for my concept. If nobody sees any major flaws I'd love that the idea be used by others to save money. I have done many searches and haven't found anybody that has tried this (or at least post about it. Here it goes: I took a tlf phosban reactor and took out the sponges. I then put some chaeto in there. For lighting I just zip tied my magnetic jbj nano glo. Since the light is mounted with a zip tie I can rotate it around the reactor every few days to assure all sides receive some light. The return goes through the hood of my jbj 28 directly into the display. The pump I am using is a minijet 606 (rated at 206 gallons I believe). Ok so theres the basic concept in which in like criticism..

Now for my personal situation:
I have been battling aggressive gha for several months in my jbj 28 led. Recently I took out the media basket and replaced it with the tunze 9002 with the stevie t cup. I did not want to lose the ability to use chaeto and had an extra reactor so I came up with the idea above. The reactor is piggy backed with the first chamber containing gfo and small particle lignite carbon, the second with my "refugium" and outlet into the display. I have the pump dialed back about 50% with a ball valve. I need to do this for two reasons. 1. The gfo and carbon would tumble too much if I didn't and 2. My return pumps are upgraded to maxijet 1200's and with the reactor pump full blast the water level in the display its just too high. This refugium gets checked every day for leaks, light adjustments and flow. The chaeto is growing and pod population does grow although I have yet to see any come into the display.
Any questions comments or concerns? I will try to post some pics. Thanks in advance for all help.
