Recommended flourescent bulbs for office

I believe my office lights are aggravating a algae problem I am having. The problem is in the front of the tank where the lights shine in.

I have 2 sets of lights with a total of 8 f40 daylight 5000k full spectrum bulbs.

Is there a spectrum that would be better for an office that has the lights on 12 hrs a day
