Heating a 150 gallon tank?
Going to go with Jager Heater and going to use 2 heaters because after reading up on the post looks like the safest way... but my question is if I am running 2 heaters what wattage should I get?

Don't make the mistake I made. I bought 2 250w heaters and they don't fit in my sump. I'm going with 2-3 smaller ones.
I'd say either 2 150 or 2 200.

The general formula is 3-4 watts of heat per gallon, though with larger tanks you can lean toward the lower end as they hold their temperature better. You should be fine with 2-200w heaters. Make sure you consider the volume of any sump into the total though.

I'd buy a temperature controller, too. I have had enough heaters die that I don't trust them. The temperature controller is pricey, but a boiled or frozen tank is worse.

i got 2 300w titaniums. both have their own controllers but i backed them with my reefkeeper so its fail safe in lots of different ways unless they just dont come one at all then i got a frozen tank or for boil out both controllers have to fail and more worse reefkeeper has to fail too.
