Need help upgrading my ro/di system

Okay I have a 100 gpd rodi unit and I wanna upgrade to a 300 gpd unit. I would like suggestions on which units are the best bang for the buck and what you guys are using. I have over 700 gallons of saltwater in my house now and it takes all day to fill up all my top off containers and stuff now. I wanna be able to cut that time way down. Any suggestions would help.

At the simple end of the spectrum you could just use 3 x 100 gpd membranes, or better yet, 4 x 75 gpd membranes or 2 x 150 gpd membranes. whether plumbed in series or in parallel, shoot for a 4 to 1 waste to permeate ratio.

We just installed a 300 gpd system in a public aquarium. Has a larger membrane that you're used to seeing, an a 1 to 1 ratio.

Lots of options here.

Over time you might be better served by selling your current system and getting a 300 GPD system new. Larger membrane, larger filters and better waste ratio. Downside is the initial cost.

I'm pretty sure most of the sponsors can supply you with one, the only ones I'm familiar with are the bigger Spectrapure commercial systems. You can probably do better on price than that.

Thats what Im wanting to do is sell my current one and replace it with a 300gpd system. I guess I need to know my options but I like the bigger systems with the big filters instead of the 10" filters.
