Applied Coral Technologies
Allen from Applied Coral Technologies sent me an email to inform me of some of their projects. They have been in National Geographic and ABC news.
Here is an ABC news article: http://www.artificialreefs.org/Artic...ransplant.html Applied Coral Technologies is now looking toward the home reef aquarist to see if there is a potential business for them there. It would be coral they propagate which helps save harvesting from the natural reefs Their website is: www.sealabflorida.com They are building a public reef tank. Here is some information from our email. "The public tank will be a million gallon, 20 ft deep, tank with an artificial reef seeded with cultivated coral. the reef will be somewhat round and 80 ft in diameter by 15 ft high. If all goes well we will break ground in July."
