Question Swapping out old heater....

Just got my Eheim Jager today to replace my old Stealth heater. How do I make the swap? Put in Eheim and let it acclimate for 15 mins then plug it in and take out the Stealth??

just take out the old one, plug in the new one, and set it for the temperature you desire

Let new one acclimate for 15 mins and plug in. You can take out the other one at anytime.......

Unplug the old one and let it stay in the water for 15 min. So when you take it out it isn't potentially red hot. Put the other one in before you do this to avoid any temperature fluctuation.

Pretty much the same as above...I always let any heater I'm taking out sit for 15-20 min to make sure its cooled. I also always let any new heater acclimate to the temp of the water for 15-20 min before plugging it in. I would probably put the new one in and turn it on before I unplugged the old heater to avoid temperature fluctuations.
