The T-shirts were in the buckets only, not the boxes. I guess I got lucky on the shirts, I have like 5 of them. All of the screw top buckets I got for a couple of years had them inside. Ruined one painting our family room, I think.. But, the wife uses them to sleep in mostly. She's a hottie so they look great on her wearing nothing else, so I don't mind.

edit: I must have an older model bucket because mine doesn't look like this. http://www.premiumaquatics.com/aquat.../SALT-160.html

Maybe that's why pets mart has them on sale for 10 dollars off.
I also used a pry bar. that thing is stupid hard to open. my fingers felt like it was going to snap off of my joints. i'm half way done with my bucket. I'm not looking forward to opening up my second bucket.

You think that bucket is bad you should try to open the Brightwell NeoMarine buckets. They have tabs all the way around for a total of 9 tabs. Even the slightest push on the lid as you are prying the tabs will re-lock the tabs.
I almost did not buy a second bucket just because of the tabs lol.
