Mix water got hot (heater stuck)

Set some water up to mix 2 nights ago and I realized last night that the heater stuck on and the water was about 95 degrees. I needed to add some more fresh water to bring down SG which brought the temp down some and I took the heater out. Any reason I can't use this water now?

I don't see any reason why, there should have been nothing in the water to be affected by the temp spike. As long as the temp/SG and what not still match your DT's water, I would use it.

Make sure you install a temp controller on your display if you don't already. This would have been bad if it was on the display.

Ranco makes a good durable unit that doesn't break the bank.
