LOL i am obsessed with drilling every tank! I think it is pointless to have failing HOB (hang on back) overflows. I also believe every saltwater tank should have a refuge with a good amount of algae. I just like doing things right the first time!

Erik have you had any issues with the aqua lifter? Have you cleaned it out yet? Or ran vinagear through it? Has it slowed down at all? Thanks

The tubbing in the aqualifter started clogging so I just replaced the tubbing. Its sucks knowing that if you dont keep an eye out on the HOB overflow is can fail. Next tank I get, I will have drilled.

Try black tubbing so algae does not grow inside!

Pedro, why would you still do H.O.B. if you are going to set up a new system? I am not saying there is anything wrong with it but just curious.

because i spent alot of my new tank money on a mp60, and my skimmer will work great on it. im saving money by not buying a new skimmer and sump.

it will just be my tank for the next year or 2. anything bigger will definately need a bigger skimmer and more bells and whistles. but for now will be just fine with the equipment i already have.

Jay i am using the 72'' Constellation on the tank. I currently only using a third of it because it was it much light for the SPS. I actually bleached out some of the coral so i went ahead and cut it back. For the return pump i am using Mag 3 all the way open. Skimmer is the octopus Extreme and running two korillas 4 for flow.

I am actually running out of room and need to more alot of these frags fast!!! lol
