Wow, what a beautiful light. What's the purpose of the T5s. Why not all leds?
Just wondering.

I am assuming it is so you can play with the color a little more...

I dig that alot the point of t5s is so you don't just have a single point light sources. Just like halide / t5 combos.. LED t5 combos will probably work out really well. Specifically for SPS people it limits the amount of shading you get.

Still looking to find out if it will be sold here in the states and if it is even going to make it to production?

Anybody know?

I knew this would eventually happen.... its all about that color spectrum, and those T5's have a very wide range! combined with the piercing force of LED's.... I concur.

Makes perfect sense if you think about it. T-5 is gonna make those corals pop like crazy while the led's are gonna give the corals a nice "showering of light" bathing them into nice lush colorful specimens. They better get on it and at least send grim one. It's a win win

Led for pop I mean, t-5 for growth. Typed opposite on accident.

I've just ordered one from Germany, it'll hopefully be here in Norway within 3-4 weeks.
