Vertex LED Questions

I am setting up a new tank that is 48x28x20 and I have a couple questions about the vertex LED's.

Will the 36" vertex illumina 200 provide enough light for a mixed reef on a tank this wide? A local reefer is interested in trading my current fixture and cash, so it would be a decent deal.

Alternatively I was thinking of getting 3 illumilux fixtures, blue / white / blue.

Will a 36" fixture be long enough to light a 48" tank? or is it better to go with the full 48"?

Thanks

It just depends on your coral placement. You will have a small 3-4 inch shadow on each end of the tank. SOme people actually prefer this beacuse you can place low light corals in the shaded areas.
